MDM DPO Ayush Kumar has issued an order in the matter on the instructions of the Divisional Commissioner and has asked Parihar BEO to provide information by filing an FIR under relevant sections in the local police station within 48 hours against the head Maulvi of the said Madrasa.

While giving this information to the Commissioner’s Secretary, DM and MDM Directorate, he said that in the complaint application received against the Chief Maulvi, there was an allegation of withdrawal of mid-day meal amount by forging the signature of the Secretary. In light of this, the matter was investigated by two district level resource workers. On the basis of the investigation report, records along with clarification were demanded from the said head Maulvi.

The records (PPA) provided by the head Maulvi were examined by the District Accountant and the District Coordinator of the MDM. The DPO has said that prima facie a difference has been found in the signature of the Secretary in the PPA. Due to which the allegation of withdrawal of funds by the head cleric by forging the signature of the secretary has been proven prima facie true.

Illegal extraction game

It has been told that in the first appeal hearing (video conferencing) before the Divisional Commissioner on March 12 in this case, instructions were given to register an FIR against the head Maulvi. Although the amount withdrawn through forged signatures has not been immediately disclosed, it is being said that the game of illegal withdrawal is from March 2022 to July 2023. It is being said that lakhs of rupees have been withdrawn. At present, the records of the fraud case are being scrutinized.
